Individual Psychotherapy
The psychotherapy I practice is conducted exclusively in-office and is aimed at individuals who genuinely wish to produce changes in their lives, driven by authentic internal motivation, not externally imposed or supported.
I do not work with diagnostic labels, "case types," or technical formulations meant to rigidly define a person's difficulties, but with people facing diverse personal and relational challenges. In psychotherapy, the focus is on the person, not the diagnosis – and each individual is unique in their experience, pace, and resources.
I trust in each individual's capacity to navigate and integrate suffering generated by past or current life contexts, regardless of prior evaluation or diagnosis. At the same time, for individuals with a psychotic history, continuation and adherence to psychiatric treatment is a necessary condition for initiating and conducting the therapeutic process.
I work collaboratively, believing that lasting results arise through shared involvement and responsibility. The therapeutic process requires teamwork, in which both client and therapist actively contribute to exploration and change. I believe facilitating new life experiences – lived, understood, and integrated – is essential for success in psychotherapy. For this joint endeavor to be possible, building a therapeutic relationship based on respect, empathy, acceptance, and trust is fundamental.
